Permanent Supportive Housing
ReVive Center for Housing and Healing offers a 28 unit supportive housing program for homeless, disabled individuals and families providing permanent housing with supportive services to help everyone who lives here have a safe, secure place to call home, transform, and revive their lives. Cressey House follows the simple principle of housing first believing that ending homelessness begins by providing a home. Each client is empowered to develop an Individual Success Plan covering comprehensive health, employment, education, life skills, parenting and tenancy. Outpatient Addiction Treatment
ReVive Center for Housing and Healing provides award-winning addiction treatment services to adult men and women. Higgins House services are free of charge to individuals with no income or insurance, or provided on a sliding fee scale. Medicaid is accepted. Higgins House has been recognized as “Best of Chicago” by the U.S. Local Business Association six times: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. Higgins House® is funded in whole or in part by the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse. ReVive Center for Housing and Healing offers 98 units of affordable housing in the Near West Side neighborhood of Chicago. ReVive is proud to join the movement to preserve single room occupancy (SRO) properties in Chicago. ReVive also partners with community-based agencies to lease units at The Royalton for transitional and permanent supportive housing programs. For more information, contact us at 312-226-4678.
Community Outreach Programs
For over 90 years, ReVive Center for Housing and Healing has delivered relief to thousands of low-income families during the holiday season. Through our annual Christmas Basket program we provide nearly 6,000 adults and youth with essential items, such as hygiene kits and food gift cards, along with toys and games for their dependent children. ReVive Center for Housing and Healing operates Second Chance Thrift offering a wide selection of affordable furniture, home goods, clothing, sports equipment, electronics, and personal accessories.
