Arthur

Arthur lived on the streets for about 20 years. You might have seen him at Millennium Park. But not in the winter. When it got cold, he would either get on a freight train or panhandle enough to take a Greyhound to someplace warm. His health suffered. His foot needs surgery. He finds it hard to stand. Recently, he moved into ReVive. Arthur told me, "nothing like having your own lock, key, and door." Last month, a gathering of staff and clients sang Happy Birthday to Arthur. He told me it was the first time in ten years that anyone had wished him a happy birthday.

Stephen Palacino

I've worked in marketing and design for 18+ years, and even met my wife (also a graphic designer) while working at an ad agency. She is my balance. We now have two young children and are finally learning the value of sleep.
